Als wir – eine kleine Gruppe von Unternehmern am Hochrhein – das ZUKUNFTs:FORUM Anfang 2011 gründeten, verfolgten wir die Absicht, das Thema Ressourceneffizienz mit Anregungen, Veranstaltungen und Informationen bekannt zu machen.
Während 2019 die für uns älteren Unternehmer beschämenden Demonstrationen Fridays for Future weltweite Aufmerksamkeit erlangten, haben wir überlegt, wie auch wir einen Beitrag zur Vermeidung der Klimakatastrophe leisten können.
Wir haben uns entschieden, die zirkulare Wirtschaft aufzugreifen und in den Vordergrund unserer Aktivitäten zu stellen. Deshalb steht im zentralen Fokus des ZUKUNFTs:FORUM am Hochrhein und Bodensee das Thema Ressourceneffektivität durch zirkulare Wirtschaft, welches wir mit unseren Aktivitäten zu seiner ihm zustehenden Bedeutung vor allem im Hinblick auf unser Klima, unsere Umwelt und die Endlichkeit fossiler Rohstoffe verhelfen wollen. Unser Einsatz hierfür heisst, für sie zu werben, sie zu fördern und deren Umsetzung anzustoßen und zu beschleunigen.
Wir glauben, dass die Bedeutung von Ressourceneffektivität und gerade die Vernetzung, die sich aus der Idee des Kreislaufs ergibt, an keiner Grenze dieser Welt halt macht und für alle erfolgreichen Ökonomien ein wichtiges Thema darstellt. Deshalb bieten wir das ZUKUNFTs:FORUM am Hochrhein und Bodensee allen als Knotenpunkt für gute Kontakte und als Plattform des Informationsaustauschs, des Wissenstransfers und des Lernens an.
We are promoting the development of a global circular economy to secure the future of our earth and of mankind.
When we – a small group of entrepreneurs from the High Rhine – founded the ZUKUNFTs:FORUM at the beginning of 2011, we set out to raise awareness of resource efficiency with suggestions, events and information.
While the demonstrations Fridays für Future, shameful for us older entrepreneurs, gained global attention in 2019, we have considered how we too can contribute to preventing climate catastrophe.
We have decided to take up the circular economy and put it at the forefront of our activities. This is why the central focus of the ZUKUNFTs:FORUM on the High Rhine and Lake Constance is the topic of resource effectiveness through a circular economy, which we want to help with our activities to its importance, especially with regard to our climate, our environment and the finiteness of fossil raw materials. Our commitment to this is to promote and encourage them and to initiate and accelerate their implementation.
We believe that the importance of resource effectiveness and precisely the network that results from the idea of the cycle does not stop at any border in the world and is an important issue for all successful economies. That is why we offer the ZUKUNFTs:FORUM on the High Rhine and Lake Constance as a hub for good contacts and as a platform for information exchange, knowledge transfer and learning.
